On September 22, 2005, RisCassi and Davis, P.C. celebrated its 50th anniversary at a gathering attended by many colleagues, fellow plaintiff's attorneys, defendant's attorney, former law clerks, staff, family and friends. In honor of the occasion, the firm presented Dean Nell Jessup Newton with a donation to the University of Connecticut School of Law for further furnishing of the William R. Davis courtroom there.

Bill Davis told the assembled crowd of his first months with Leon RisCassi, whom he had joined after graduating from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1955.

Dale Faulkner, a New London trial lawyer, made some kind remarks about the firm and its commitment to the trial of jury cases.
