$1,000,000 Settlement - Medical Malpractice - Gall Bladder Surgery on Pregnant Woman
This case arose out of gall bladder surgery on the plaintiff mother when she was approximately 30 weeks pregnant. The surgeon injured her common bile duct during this surgery. This resulted in premature labor and premature delivery of her child, who suffered significant developmental problems by virtue of her prematurity. John J. Houlihan, Jr. represented the family.
