Patrick Kennedy and David Cooney obtained a verdict of more than $260,000
in Willimantic Superior Court against Kohl's Department Store. The case involved a defective shopping cart which caused significant skin lacerations to the 78 year old plaintiff's shins. Kohl's last offer to settle the case was $50,000.
