What Constitutes a Surgical Error?

A surgical error occurs when a surgeon or another medical professional/facility fails to uphold the standard of care owed to the patient. This can take many forms, but it essentially means that the liable party was somehow negligent, and this led to the patient experiencing injuries/harm and damages.
