RisCassi & Davis attorney John J. Houlihan, Jr. has filed suit against St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury for medical negligence in causing the death of a Wolcott woman. The woman was being treated in St. Mary’s following a surgical procedure when she showed signs that her breathing tube had become dislodged. This was not recognized by the doctor responsible for her care, and she suffered a loss of oxygen flow to her brain resulting in her death. The case is pending in Superior Court in Waterbury.
