Sean Stokes
Bio
Sean’s entire legal career has been dedicated to protecting the rights of the injured. In law school, Sean worked as a law clerk at RisCassi & Davis, P.C., and was hired as an attorney immediately upon his admission to the bar in 2015. Sean remained at RisCassi & Davis P.C., from 2015 to 2019. During that time, he was recognized by the Connecticut Law Tribune as a “New Leader in the Law” and a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. In 2017, Sean obtained one of the Top 20 verdicts in Connecticut in Litchfield Superior Court.
Sean moved to Portland, Oregon in the summer of 2020. In Oregon, Sean continued his work as an advocate for the injured. In 2020, he was selected as a Top 40 under 40 and was recognized by Best Lawyers as a top attorney in Plaintiff’s Personal Injury in Oregon, and from 2021-2014 was again selected as a “Rising Star.” Sean’s practice in Oregon was focused on cases involving semi-trucks, commercial motor vehicles, and large corporations that had caused injury to innocent victims. During his time in Oregon, Sean obtained tens of millions of dollars of recovery for his clients. Sean moved back to Connecticut in 2024 and returned to RisCassi & Davis, P.C.
Sean is a member of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. He is admitted to the state and federal courts of Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Oregon. A native of the Berkshires, Sean enjoys running and spending time outdoors.
